A beautifully handcrafted bookend made of Scottish Oak. Decorated with an authentic Long Nose club head. Long Nose Clubs date from the earliest days of golf in the 15th century up till the late 1800s. Nobody is quite certain who coined the phrase Long Nose, but it is likely to have come into use in the 1890s to distinguish the older shape of long and thin club heads from the more bulbous ones that were coming into use at that time. This is a genuine Long Nose club-head and along with the base, it is entirely hand-made in the St Andrews Golf Co factory in St Andrews, Scotland.
