Bobby Jones SIGNATURE Hickory Golf Putter
The 'Calamity Jane' Hickory Golf Putter is a legendary piece of golfing history, famously used by Bobby Jones to win 12 of his 13 major championships. Originally crafted by renowned cleek maker Robert Condie of St Andrews, this iconic putter has been meticulously recreated, staying true to its original design. The head is stamped with Bobby Jones's signature, adding to its authenticity and charm. In his early days, Jones, known for his fiery temper, nearly broke the putter on several occasions. To reinforce it, he applied three whipping points around the hickory shaft for added durability, a detail faithfully replicated in our Calamity Jane putter.
Custom Options; You can choose a 33, 34 or 35 inch shaft, and have the shafts engraved with your initials, name, number, or a personal message
The Bobby Jones Signature putter is modelled on the head of his famous Calamity Jane putter. It shows the rose "cleek mark" (brand) of Robert Condie of St Andrews who made the first Calamity Jane for William Winton who sold clubs in the Acton area of London. Bobby Jones used this putter from 1924 through 1930 when he won 12 of his 13 major championships. The head comes complete with Jones' signature stamped on it.
