Tom Stewart Hickory Golf 4 Club Iron Set (Polished Finish)
Tom Stewart began his career as a blacksmith in Carnoustie, Scotland, where he worked alongside his father making golf clubs. In 1890, he moved to St Andrews and gained further experience with the respected clubmaker Robert White. By 1893, Stewart had established his own business, adopting the distinctive Pipe cleekmark first introduced by his father in Carnoustie. His clubs soon earned a reputation for exceptional quality, precision, and craftsmanship, making them among the most highly regarded hickory clubs of their era.

Simply place your order, and we will contact you before production begins to confirm all of your preferred specifications. Alternatively, you are welcome to email us at info@hickorygolf.shop immediately after placing your order.
Most golfers purchase only one hickory golf set in their lifetime. We want to ensure your clubs are built to suit you perfectly and provide many years of enjoyment.
Choosing the Right Shaft Flex
Our shafts are available in four flexes:
- Super Stiff
- Stiff
- Regular
- Soft
As a general guide:
- Handicap 10 or below: Super Stiff or Stiff
- Handicap 10–20: Stiff or Regular
- Handicap above 20: Regular or Soft
These are only general guidelines. The ideal shaft also depends on your swing speed, tempo, strength and personal preference. If you are unsure, we are always happy to help you choose the specification that best suits your game.
