This unique gift is a hickory shaft golf putter handcrafted by our golf club artisans at our factory in St Andrews, Scotland.
It has a maple wood head, suede grip, brass shaft plaque, and a brass soleplate. The head is a mallet-head design popular in the early 1900s. The brass soleplate has a special message to celebrate Mothers Day and Fathers Day.
A truely unique golfing gift, 'Made in St Andrews', Scotland, that your parent (s) will treasure for a lifetime.
This hickory shaft putter is suitable for playing hickory golf and modern golf.
You can select the message, if your putter is right or left hand, the length of your putter, and if you wish to engrave the shaft with a name.

There are three steps to ordering this unique gift.
1. Tell us if you want Design 1 'For the Best Father' or Design 2 'For the Best Mother'.
2. Then choose a right or left-handed putter, and tell us if you want a 33inch, 34-inch, or 35-inch shaft.
3. If you want to have a name engraved on the shaft, then please select this option and type in the name.

In the early 1900s, the mallet-style putter was popular with top golfers, even after introducing iron putter heads. It has a soft touch, with the hickory shaft and suede grip allowing you to feel the weight of the stroke in your fingertips. The maple wood head has a distinct sound when it strikes the ball. It is an attractive putter suitable as a gift to yourself or someone special in your golfing life. We recommend you always use a headcover with this putter since other iron head clubs in your bag can cause damage to the soft wooden head.
