This unique gift is a hickory shaft golf putter handcrafted by our golf club artisans at our factory in St Andrews, Scotland.
It has a maple wood head, suede grip, brass shaft plaque, and a brass soleplate.  The head is a mallet-head design popular in the early 1900s.  The brass soleplate has a special Fathers/Mothers Day design and message. 

You can choose our standard design and message or add your own special message.

There are five steps to designing your hickory shaft golf putter gift. Please the input box below to;
1. Tell us if you want Design 5 or Design 6. 
2. Tell us if you wish to have the standard text 'You are simply the best' or 'Thank You', or if you wish to add your custom text.
3. If you want to have custom text, tell us your special message (i.e., Thank You Forever)
4. Tell us if you wish to have a name, number or message engraved on the shaft.
5.  Then choose a right or left-handed putter, and tell us if you want a 33inch, 34-inch, or 35-inch shaft.

In the early 1900s, the mallet-style putter was popular with top golfers, even after introducing iron putter heads. It has a soft touch, with the hickory shaft and suede grip allowing you to feel the weight of the stroke in your fingertips. The maple wood head has a distinct sound when it strikes the ball. It is an attractive putter suitable as a gift to yourself or someone special in your golfing life. We recommend you always use a headcover with this putter since other iron head clubs in your bag can cause damage to the soft wooden head.
